This is the best thing ever.What I'm really scared about is that these douchebags will try to upgrade into the world of motorcycles. As with fixed gears there is currently a type of motorcycle that is only practical in one type of racing situation. It is called a speedway bike. They have no gears (same thing with a bike but so much worse when it comes to driving), no shocks (your ass will fall off if ridden on regular street), they even look like a fixie bike, and have no brakes so the only way to effectively slow down is to engine brake (letting go of the clutch and the throttle to cause the engine to slow down with no combustion)... part of me shudders at the thought of seeing a bunch of flashy, single back brake (you have to have at least one brake), teeth shattering, extremely fast, extremely loud, single cylinder motorcycles with riders probably wearing nothing but skid lids and venetian shade sunglasses with skinny jeans and ripped t-shirts, but the other part of me hopes that they will because they will all die. However, the original bike was a single speed. That's what I rode as a kid even just as recently as the 80's. I remember being awed when a neighbor girl a few years older got a 3-speed. A THREE speed. Now we have 21, 24, 27 speeds (though I argue they're unnecessary - my mountain bike that was stolen was a 24-speed and I probably only ever used four or five positions regularly). So, I GET IT.... I would even like to ride a fixie for some decent distance and see how it feels. To push my body and move the bike solely with my own physical exertion. With all that said, this website is offensive and ridiculous (literally, deserving of ridicule) in its hatred and ignorance. And its use of the word fag is horrendous. Fag is a powerful and hurtful word toward gay people, just like the common use of the word "gay" to describe something you don't like is inappropriate and insensitive. Oh oh oh I'm being PC! Yeah, sorry, I am gay and I can call my friends fags, queers, gaybos, or whatever other rendition of intentionally hurtful words that homophobes use... but YOU cannot.
